Frogg Moody Talk - Friday 12th June 7:00 pm - Memorial Hall
Salisbury & District MS Society group are holding a Cheese and Wine evening in Harnham Parish Hall on Saturday 6 June at 7pm. It is a fund raising evening open to all. Please do come along.
Renown local historian, Frogg Moody, will be delivering a talk about the fascinating 160 year old history of Harnham's Memorial Hall. This will also the official launch of a significant appeal to raise funds for a major renovation of the building and ensure it lasts another 160 years. The event is at 7pm for 7:30pm.
Salisbury Soroptimists are having their annual Bra Collection . Bins are available across the city to take gently worn bras that are no longer need. However, you can also but you can deliver them to Annette Phillips at 15 Buttercup Close SP2 8FA and leave them by the front door in the plastic box . Soroptimists link with a charity Afreebra who distribute the bras usually in Ghana to women who cannot afford something we take for granted.

The HCN AGM was held in the Memorial Hall this year. The meeting started with Simon Jackson welcoming everyone and promoting the Hall's fund raising campaign - which officially launches on 12th June.
Helen Donnelly gave us an eye-opening insight to how Harnham Junior School is ensuring the school striving to provide a sense of belonging and purpose for all children, no matter what their background is. HJS is very lucky to have such a visionary Head teacher.
Charles Woodd, Chair, ran through the HCN focussed elements of the agenda - with all officers and committee members re-elected. The report for the year was approved by the meeting and is available here.
